Karnataka PGCET Basic Details

Karnataka PGCET (Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test) is a state level management entrance test.  The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will organize Karnataka PGCET for admissions of Karnataka & non Karnataka applicants to the 1st year of full time as well as part time program in PG management (MBA) course and other in University/Government/Private Aided/Private Un Aided professional institutes in the Karnataka State. Karnataka PGCET will be held in the month of July. The Online application process of Karnataka PGCET will be starts from the May month.

Karnataka PGCET Eligibility

An applicant who has passed bachelor’s degree of three year duration exam or equivalent with 50 percentage marks (45 percentage for SC/ST)taken together in all subjects of the degree exam is eligible to appear Karnataka PGCET.

Karnataka PGCET Application Form Details

  • The Karnataka PGCET application form procedure is online.
  • The application form for Karnataka PGCET is available in the month of May.
  • Applicants have to open the official site of KEA and then click on the link Karnataka PGCET online application.
  • After that applicants need to register by entering the necessary information.
  • After online registration, applicants will receive Karnataka PGCET application number & user id.
  • Then applicants have to re-login and fill up the online application form.
  • Applicants have to upload the scanned photograph, signature, and applicant left hand thumb impression.
  • After successfully completing the application, pay the Karnataka PGCET application fee through bank challan.

  • Applicants need to pay Karnataka PGCET application fee is Rs. 650 for General/OBC applicants and Rs. 500 for SC/ST and Cat-I applicant.
  • The application fee should be paid through bank challan

Karnataka PGCET Exam pattern

Karnataka PGCET MBA will be conducted in one session. The total no. of questions in Karnataka PGCET is 100. Every question will have 4 options. Every question will carry 1 mark.  There are four sections such as Proficiency in English Language, General Knowledge, Test of Reasoning & General Intelligence and Quantitative analysis. The total time duration of Karnataka PGCET exam is 2 hours.

Karnataka PGCET Counselling Process

  • Based on performance of the applicants in the entrance test the merit list or rank list will be published.
  • All the eligible applicants who have got the requisite marks or scores will have to appear for Karnataka PGCET document verification and seat allotment procedure as par the time schedule.
